Asphalt serves as a permanent smooth surface that won't wash away, rut, or have to be raked out of the yard or end of the road like a gravel driveway will. And it won't cost an arm and a leg like cement does without providing any real benefit that justifies the extra cost.

We offer both new installation, resurfacing over existing asphalt and concrete driveways and well as asphalt repair including pot hole repair and alligated areas that are beyond benefit of crack filling and seal coating.
All new installs are laid at 2 inches thick after compaction unless a thicker pad is needed for areas with high traffic with heavy weight.
All resurfacing are laid at 1 1/2 inches and then compacted after the old surface is first treated with a liquid asphalt tack coat to act as an adhesive.
Pot hot and damaged areas are dug out, cleaned, edges tack coated and pre filled them compacted. Then they are filled again with hot mix asphalt and compacted again to insure against settling causing low lying areas that can hold water.
